With over 20 years of experience as an Orthodontist, Dr. Crotty has seen many advances in this specialist field. Modern self-ligating brackets have been standard in Dr. Crotty’s practice for over 10 years. Tooth colored braces and Invisalign have proved to be popular. More recently, advances in CAD-CAM technology have enabled the development of lingual, hidden braces systems such as Incognito and Eurapix.

Dr. Crotty is also the first Orthodontist to offer a very exciting development, called SureSmile, in Ireland. In fact, his practice is in the first line of orthodontic practices bringing it to Europe. This technology promises shorter yet more accurate and more comfortable fixed brace treatment for patients, basing this on more accurate diagnostic tools and more accurate wire bending capabilities, while still leaving the orthodontist in control of the treatment.

Although a great believer in the advantages of appropriately used modern technology, Dr. Crotty very much appreciates the importance of the human touch.
